Is TradeMax free?
The app itself is free. You bring your own API keys for the AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, MiniMax, etc.) — they charge their own usage fees. Exchange connections use read-only API keys; your funds never leave your account.
Will TradeMax place trades for me?
No. TradeMax never places real trades automatically. Any action involving real money requires explicit, in-app confirmation by you. We strongly recommend using read-only exchange keys. TradeMax is an assistant, not a custodian.
What markets and exchanges are supported?
Market data: US / HK / A-share equities (Alpha Vantage, Finnhub), crypto (CoinGecko, Binance, OKX, Bybit), prediction markets (Polymarket). Exchange integrations keep expanding.
How reliable is the AI?
AI gets things wrong — especially when data is thin or markets are volatile. TradeMax cross-checks answers internally to cut down on bad takes, but the final call is yours. Treat it as a sharp assistant, not an oracle.
Which AI is behind it? Can I choose?
Yes. Claude, GPT, DeepSeek, MiniMax — pick what suits you. Fast models for quick chat, strong models for serious decisions. You bring your own API key (Settings → Models). Usage fees go to the AI provider, not us.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone (and your own iCloud, if you turn on sync). Our servers don't store any of it. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I join TestFlight?
Tap this link to join the beta. You'll need Apple's TestFlight app installed first.
What iOS version do I need?
iOS 18.0 or later, universal for iPhone & iPad. Some features (iOS 26 Liquid Glass, Foundation Models) require iOS 26.
