Privacy Policy

TradeMax ("we", "the app") is committed to protecting user privacy. This policy explains how we handle information generated while you use TradeMax.
Core Principles
- Local-first: All user data (chats, positions, monitoring rules) is stored locally on your device (SwiftData) by default.
- Your iCloud, your control: Cross-device sync uses Apple iCloud private containers. Apple handles encryption. We cannot access this data.
- Zero tracking: No third-party tracking SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no behavioral analytics SDKs.
- Encrypted keys: All API keys (AI providers, exchanges) are stored in iOS Keychain. They are never uploaded to our servers.
Information We Process
1. Information you voluntarily provide
- AI provider API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, MiniMax, etc.): Stored locally in Keychain only. All AI conversations connect directly to your provider, not through our servers.
- Exchange API keys (Binance, OKX, Bybit, etc.): Stored locally in Keychain only. Please use read-only API keys — TradeMax only reads market data and positions, it does not place trades.
- Chat content, position snapshots, monitoring rules: Stored in local SwiftData database + your iCloud private container.
2. Automatically collected information (on-device only)
- App crash logs and performance diagnostics (via Apple's MetricKit), used only to improve app stability. When you explicitly choose to send a crash report, data flows through Apple's standard channel — we only see anonymized aggregated data.
3. Information we do NOT collect
- Conversation content, position values, trade history
- Location, contacts, photos, microphone (unless you explicitly grant voice input permission)
- Device identifiers (IDFA / IDFV) for tracking
- Cross-app behavioral profiling
Third-party Services
When you configure the following services in TradeMax, corresponding data is sent to that provider. Please also read their privacy policies:
- AI providers: Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, MiniMax, etc. (conversations transmitted directly)
- Market data sources: Alpha Vantage, Finnhub, CoinGecko, Polymarket (only query requests, no personal info)
- Exchanges: Binance, OKX, Bybit (direct queries via your API key)
- Apple: iCloud sync, TestFlight feedback, in-app purchases (if any)
Voice Input
If you use voice input, TradeMax invokes Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer. Processing may happen on-device or on Apple's servers (Apple decides). Voice audio is never uploaded or stored by TradeMax.
Children's Privacy
TradeMax is not directed at users under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
Data Deletion
You can:
- Delete chats and memory in-app via Settings → Memory Management
- Disable iCloud sync for TradeMax and delete iCloud data via Apple's iCloud settings
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
